Hi, I’m Mia Guild.
I’m a passionate and dedicated childcare professional based right here in Sarasota, Florida. With over a decade of experience as both a teacher and a nanny, my goal has always been to create a safe, nurturing and enriching environment where your child can truly thrive.
I believe early childhood is a magical time for discovery, and I love tailoring my daily activities to match each child’s unique personality, curiosity and developmental milestones. When your child is with me, they aren’t just being watched: they’re being supported, encouraged and inspired to learn and grow every single day.

Services
Book a single day or set up a regular rhythm. Tell me what you need when you book and I’ll confirm the details with you.
Full meadow day
A full day of care: outdoor play, crafts, lunch and snacks, nap time and story circle.
Half-day play
A morning or afternoon block, good for settling in, short work days or appointments.
Date nights & evening care
Evening care for parent nights out, so you can enjoy dinner, a show or some time together while your little ones are in good hands.

Care contract
The short version of how we work together. When you book, you’re agreeing to these terms. I’m happy to talk any of them through.
Hours & location
I come to you, so care takes place in your own home during the hours shown on the calendar. We’ll agree on start and finish times when I confirm your booking.
Rates & payment
Rates depend on the service and the number of children, and are confirmed in writing before your first day. Payment is due at the end of each week unless we agree otherwise.
Cancellations
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel a booked day. Late cancellations may be charged, because that day was held for your family.
Illness
To keep everyone well, children with a fever, vomiting or anything contagious should stay home until they’ve been symptom-free for 24 hours. If your child becomes unwell while I’m with them, I’ll call you straight away.
Food & allergies
I can make snacks and meals for your children. Tell me about allergies, intolerances and family food choices when you book, and I’ll plan around them.
Safety & emergencies
I keep an emergency contact sheet for every child, using the emergency contact and medical details you give me when you book. If anything serious happens, I’ll get help first and then contact you straight away.
Photos & privacy
I only share photos with your own family, and never post children online without written permission.
